Communicating Vision |
The strategic vision for an organisation can often get lost in translation between the senior management team and the people on the shop floor Company mission statements often appear as printed statements on office notice boards that no-one ever reads. Strategic "Vision" means that it should be something that people can see ! Corporate jargon and traditional "death by bullet point" presentations can often further confuse the key message. If the people who need to make it happen don't "get" the organisation's strategic vision, it is no surprise that the end objective isn't met. By representing an organisation's Strategic Vision in a visual way - perhaps showing the past, the present and the future as a journey - everyone at every level within the organisation can understand the direction the organisation is headed and why. They can also understand their own role in helping drive the organisation towards the end goal.
